Authorities are investigating a possible link between Gilgo Beach accused killer Rex Heuermann and South Carolina woman Julia Ann Bean who was last seen alive in 2017. South Carolina authorities said they are investigating a possible connection between accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann and a woman who has been missing since 2017. Julia Ann Bean was last seen alive on May 31, 2017, in Sumter County. Her daughter reported her missing on Nov. 18, 2017, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office. A person claiming to be a friend of the woman came forward and presented "third hand" information, the sheriff's office said. California has sued the Chino Valley School District over a transgender 'outing' policy that requires educators to tell parents if students change their pronouns or name. California Attorney General Rob Bonta has filed a lawsuit to try to halt a school district's enforcement of what his office calls a "forced outing policy" involving transgender students. The Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education, which serves about 26,000 students, recently adopted a mandatory gender identity disclosure policy that requires schools to tell parents if a student asks to use a name or pronoun that's different from what is listed on their birth certificate or other official records. The policy also requires parental notification if a student asks to use facilities or enter programs that don't align with their sex as it is on official records.
